Celebrity Brand Altuzarra has Taken a Decision In Protection of Animals

Popular Nowadays Fashion Maison has Taken a Decision In Protection of Animals

The well-known celebrity label Altuzarra announced that they are ceasing further work with animal skins and no longer intend to use it in production.

After information from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was published about the massive spread of animal cruelty, Altuzarra came to their senses and started down the right path.

In one statement, PETA explained how workers in the fashion industry abused animals by skinning crocodiles and snakes. Similar methods of animal cruelty have also been traced to Australia, South Africa and the United States.

PETA then sent out a study describing how animal abuse is linked to further risks for the planet. The results showed that close interactions with animals from the wild increase the risk of virus outbreaks. This could all lead to new pandemic outbreaks.

PETA thanked Altuzarra for making the right decision and delivered a box of crocodile themed plant-based chocolates to the fashion house.

After all, in this way the company saves the lives of many exotic animals and protects the health of the entire population. The organization appreciates this move and calls on all global brands to take the same action.

But the brand is not alone in its desire to do without exotic animal skin.

In the near future, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Diane von Furstenberg, HUGO BOSS, Karl Lagerfeld, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood will follow suit and refuse to use skins in the fashion industry.

Now we await news from high-profile brands like Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Prada.
