After reading Dr. Funk’s book “Breasts: The Owner’s Manual” she decided to take her family’s health to the next level and changed their entire diet to a plant-based diet. “The message of veganism is not one that they want to get out, but not only will it help us, it helps the planet.”
Mayim Bialik – The American actress who is mostly known for her role in “The Big Bang Theory” has been vegan since 2014. After reading Jonathan Safran Foer’s book “Eating Animals” She decided to turn her vegetarian diet into a plant-based diet. Mayim has been raising awareness of veganism ever since. In 2014 she published a book with 100 plant-based recipes, In 2019 opened a vegan restaurant in downtown LA and from time to time she publishes videos about being vegan in our modern society.
