Prepare the burger mix. Toss the breadcrumbs, grated onion, chili spice mix, egg (or egg substitute), and some salt and black pepper into the beans. Throw in some water if the mixture looks dry. Set aside for 5 minutes.

Form the patties. Divide the bean mixture into 4 equal balls and form it into 4 flavorful patties. Bean cutlets do not shrink when fried, so regardless of the original size, you will put them out of the pan the same way. Fry the cutlets. Fry the bean cutlets for 4-5 minutes. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each cutlet. Cover the skillet and continue to fry for another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Cut the resulting bread cake into four parts and lengthwise (if you get buns, then only lengthwise). Spread some mayonnaise on the bottom half of the flatbread. Put half a leaf of lettuce, a cutlet on top, then a couple of cucumber slices, a little balsamic sauce on top, a couple of tomato slices, hot pickled pepper, and cover with the other half of the bread. Remember to repeat four times!
